Retirement Living Innovators first in the nation to become Gluten Free Food Service Accredited (GFFS)Expanding upon its award winning Whole Life Living Culinary Program GenCare recognized that nearly 25 million people follow a gluten-free diet and over 60% of persons with celiac disease fear dining out. The Whole Food, Whole Life initiative is one element of the Seattle-based organization’s Whole Life Living wellness program.

GenCare Lifestyle partners with the largest network of bereavement for kids -The Moyer Foundation and Camp Erin. This intergenerational connection helps GenCare seniors to bridge the gap with other generations. 

The Institute for Preventive Foot Health (IPFH) is a non-profit foundation that exists to help you and your family care for your feet through awareness, education, research and the identification of easy-to-follow methods that are proven by clinical research to prevent, treat and manage painful conditions and diseases affecting your feet and your quality of life.

According to the 2012 National Foot Health Assessment conducted for IPFH by The NPD Group, Inc., a respected national research organization, a staggering 78 percent of adults in the United States have experienced foot pain or foot problems in their lifetimes. These problems are serious enough to interfere with a person’s ability to work, exercise or enjoy a full, healthy lifestyle.

GenCare Lifestyle was honored to be part of early beta testing on the all-new ChairMaster product. The ChairMaster is part of a new line of exercise equipment and wellness products designed and manufactured by Cascade Health and Fitness LLC.

GenCare Communities in Seattle, WA has initiated a unique and ambitious 4-part Whole Life Living health and wellness program for residents. The program focuses on nutrition, physical activity, health maintenance and mental/emotional fitness. GenCare leadership recognized that its computer-based mental fitness program, Stay Sharp, was ready to launch the program's next stage desiigned to sustainably engage residents, families and staff.
