Veteran's and/or their spouses could be eligible for financial aid provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Aid and Attendance Pension benefits. Since this is a pension benefit, it is not dependent upon service-related injuries. It can help pay for Home Care or Assisted Living Services.

This aide is a tax-free benefits and pays qualified individuals up to:

• $1,632*/month (Veteran Only)
• $1,055*/month (Surviving Spouse)
• $1,949*/month (Veteran and Spouse)
