New All Day Dining and Restaurant Style Menus at GenCare Lifestyle Communities!

As a Culinary Director for the last 11 years, I have followed food trends and their popularity among the residents we serve. GenCare Lifestyle has always been an innovative forerunner with our Certified Gluten-Free program that anticipated a greater awareness of gluten related issues among seniors. The success of this program has attracted those who wish to manage good health with confidence that our menus and culinary team can create amazing meals without gluten.

Once again, the creative culinary team at GenCare Lifestyle has launched a new dining program, dispensing with the repetitious and dated “cycle menu” and “daily specials” format of most senior living communities and introducing our new All Day Restaurant Style menus.

The focus, as always, is whole and healthy ingredients, with many options for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diners. Residents can enjoy anything on our generous menu throughout the day without worrying about missing designated “lunch or dinner” meal times. Everything is cooked to order and easily modified for specific diets, as indicated clearly on the menus. Chefs are creating seasonal options and changing selections weekly or bi-weekly. In addition, each menu has a section devoted to resident suggestions, which we take very seriously!

Ruth, our resident in Pt. Ruston tacoma retirement living, commented that she couldn’t wait to invite friends to have lunch at the “new” restaurant in her community. She told me there were so many great choices that she was worried she wouldn’t be able to try them all!
